Poseidon is the replication engine running Swift Retail. It replicates system data from Head Office to Swift Retail Clients and transaction data from Swift Retail Client servers to Swift Head Office.
Data loops through active servers to perform the relative downloads, uploads and updates. Poseidon monitor displays all movements between Head Office and Retail servers.
Poseidon has automated daily start up and incorporates SMS and email messaging engines.
